A numbers man by trade, but not by nature, Matt’s also an Accredited Mindshop Facilitator and Business Architect with an emphasis on Business Intelligence. He loves technology and its potential to positively impact business and is passionate about helping clients grow their wealth and enjoy life.
Erin Roughley
DIRECTOR & SUPERANNUATION SPECIALIST
Erin is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years experience and specializes in advisory services for small business owners. She is an expert in Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and has a passion for helping clients meet their wealth building goals. Erin works meticulously to identify the best solutions for clients.
Diane Shying
ACCOUNTANT
Diane brings 16 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in construction and public practice. Now based in Bathurst, she's eager to connect with the community. A classical music enthusiast, she played cello with the Penrith Symphony Orchestra for over a decade.
Deb Field
IN-HOUSE XERO GURU
Deb is Advise's ‘go-to’ person for bookkeeping. The queen of reconciling bank accounts and creditor statements, she also processes payroll for our larger customers. She’s also responsible for Xero setup and training and loves using Xero Add-ons to streamline business processes.

Samantha commenced her career in public practice in 2009 and brings over 15 years’ experience as a qualified accountant. She provides practical, commercially focused advice across financial reporting, tax and BAS, helping clients maintain clarity and control over their financial position. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, tending to her veggie garden, painting and cooking.
Hamish Mapp
ACCOUNTANT
Hamish is an Accountant at Advise Accountants, progressing from trainee to managing a growing client portfolio. Studying Accounting alongside a Finance degree, he combines strong technical skills with practical small-business insight. Known for detail and professionalism, he delivers clear, reliable advice. Outside work, he leads an active lifestyle, enjoying sport, outdoor activities and weekend support work in the disability sector.
