At Advise we have put together a team of coaches that bring to your business a strategic advantage. Like many sports teams that have multiple coaches that bring a specialist skill to the team, like a scrum coach in rugby or a defensive coach in league, at advise we do.
There are key elements every business needs to get right – strategy, profit, marketing, recruitment and financial management. When these elements are all working together it can produce great results.

Matt Sharwood
Matt’s an Accredited Mindshop Facilitator and business architect with a focus on Business Intelligence. He loves technology and its potential impact on a business.
As a business owner for 20+ years, Matt has first-hand experience of the day-to-day challenges.
He’s heavily involved with implementing key strategies and KPIs and is passionate about driving businesses to greater profitability.

Erin Roughley
Erin is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years experience and specializes in advisory services for small business owners. Erin is an expert in Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and has a passion for helping clients meet their wealth building goals.
Erin was born and educated in Bathurst and has completed the Chartered Accountants program, and is also accredited to provide financial advice in relation to superannuation.
Erin works meticulously to identify solutions for clients in operating across varied industries, particularly building, real estate agents and pubs.

Philip Coombes
Over the last 25 years, I have had two very distinct professional lives. I transformed one of Australia’s oldest and largest plumbing companies into an organisation three times its size. When I sold that company in 2012, I became a sought-after business coach with my company ProfitHQ, formerly known as Simply Business Australia. I have navigated business trenches and worked with hundreds of clients teaching them how they are the key to their success.

Mike Boyle
Mike’s purpose in life is to ‘create environments of potential’. There is no better setting in which to practice this mission than the world of sales.
After starting his career as an eager graphic reproducer in the depths of a pre-press house, Mike quickly found his forte and entered into the world of sales. Moving swiftly, the peak of his learning came from working at Xerox and he brings his years of experience at a myriad of organisations into the practices and beliefs at Banjar Group.
Mike’s extensive experience has allowed him to connect with sales people from all industries and walks of life across the globe. The common thread in all these interactions is the universal desire of people to ‘do better‘.
His passionate and energetic personality lends itself to connecting quickly with others and building a relationship of trust in which to share the experiences of the sales game. He thrives on the challenges presented and strives to present solutions and possibilities to achieve successful outcomes.
Mike’s practical and educational knowledge have provided a firm foundation for developing programs and presentations ideally suited to today’s sales person. His ongoing interest in the world of sales makes him a source of insight and the perfect coach for those lucky enough to be in his ‘Sales Rockets’ inner sanctum.
With a genuine passion for sales and an enthusiastic personality, Mike is the perfect source of inspiration for sales teams and individuals. Business leaders know to rely on him to ‘cut through the crap’ and get their sales vision in check! Whether it is a one-on-one interaction or a presentation to an entire sales force, Mike has the ability and drive to make the selling future clear and achievable.

Andrew Hodges
Andrew worked for many years for a wide variety of companies including the State Transport Authority, Hyatt Hotels, Laserex Technologies, Australia Post, Origin Energy, Santos, and Ingenia; predominately in senior commercial leadership roles. After helping those companies become successful, Andrew decided it was time to open his own Advisory Business. Over those 25 years Andrew has been exposed to, and has been involved in a wide variety of issues and challenges both internally and externally. What has stood out the most is the need to deal with Change and how to then take the next steps to tackle what is taking place. Andrew has mastered this skill.
Andrew’s commercial success is evident over many years, he was a major contributor involved in securing the first ever multi-site South Australian Government electricity contract worth over $40m for Origin. In 2003 Andrew was the lead negotiator for the first ever multi-site South Australian Government Gas Contract in 2005 worth $15m for Origin. While Andrew was at Santos in 2010 he secured a new business $100m gas contract, an achievement unprecedented in the Cooper Basin regarding a new customer being secured. In 2012, as GM for Ingenia, he turned Ingenia’s performance around within a 12 month period, doubling both turnover and staff numbers, while introducing new services, increasing profits and introducing a new performance culture that staff and clients loved. In 2013 Ingenia was a finalist in the Fast Movers SA awards. Finalists were recognized as the most innovative, smart, and fastest growing enterprises for their sectors.
Andrew has spent his life educating himself and preparing for the next challenge that will come his way. He went back to University as a mature age student to obtain his Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and later on while working full time embarked on an MBA over four years. Both of these qualifications were successfully completed at the University of South Australia. Along the way Andrew has undertaken an executive program at Mt Eliza; Melbourne University, and an emerging leadership program at the University of Canberra. He has completed several coaching, public speaking and expert level sales and negotiation training programs. Andrew is a certified Executive Coach, a certified NLP Practitioner, an accredited expert level Harrison Assessor and also Mindshop Accredited Facilitator.
